Sunday was "super" to us for very non-football reasons. It was SUPER SNOWY!!! We've been getting a whole lot of snow lately. It's been very fun, and tons warmer than it would be otherwise (so I'm not complaining). Besides the near-death, stuck-on-the-hill-to-Grandma's-house driving experience, the winter wonderland has not been too frightful. Where was I? Oh yes, snow day. So on Sunday, we decided we should take our little James outside to experience the snow. We dressed him up in this adorable, warm outfit (Thanks, Cousin Gabe!) and.... well, since pictures are worth a thousand words, you'll just have to see for yourself...

And what's better than a little pipe-smoking to warm you up after a cold day in the snow? We asked James, but he could think of nothing better! ;)

I am seriously rolling! I love it! Sweet pipe. . .did it come with a little similac? How does he like his jumparoo? Kona got pretty addicted to it. And we loved watching him bounce out of control. You look super hot in your pic with James! Glad to see Derek putting James to work shoveling. what a happy boy! How do you get him to smile for every picture?
Derek -- thought you were going to throw Becca in the snowdrift? How nice to be able to see these pictures. I love you all and miss being closer. xoxoxo
James is such a cutie cute in his snowsuit! Gabriel is excited to meet him in a few weeks. He almost always plays with girls in our neighborhood, so on Sunday when he gets to play with other boys in nursery, he's pumped. He calls them "my boys in church." He'll be excited for James to get bigger and play boy games too.
Did you cover James in the snow in the second picture?
Dang. Katie beat me to the commenting. That aside, James is a very cute baby -- he should be a spokesbaby for America's choice foods. I love how smiley he is!
To answer Katie's question, no we didn't cover James in snow. We did, however, "plunk" him into the snow so he'd make an angel of sorts. He loved it. The first picture of just him was the first shot of him in the snow. Derek just dropped him into a puffy snow bank. He thought it was hilarious, as you can tell. ;)
FunnY! I just love that smile. Great pictures. You definitely are my number one commenter on my blog. I should write more, but lately I've been focusing almost all of my writing ability on my stupid thesis. But yes, we should definitely hang out. I was so close to calling you last week (Friday) to see if you wanted to go to Michael's and the mall with me, but I decided not to because that's a pretty boring play date. Got any better ideas?
