"Side" Blogs

Hey there! I just wanted to put in a little "fyi" and let you all know that I now am co-authoring on a couple of additional "side" blogs (think "side dish"). You can get to either of them via their links under my "Friends, Family & Stalkees" bar. There are two of them: "The Young Wives' Tales" and "Lit Lovers."

"The Young Wives Tales" is one I'm doing with a few friends of mine, all young moms and young wives, hence the oh-so-clever title. (If you're feeling a little slow, I'll help you out. Think "Old Wives' Tale"...) On this site, you will find anything and everything helpful or fun that we care to share with you. Among these may be: delicious recipes, helpful articles and other resources, notification of sales--locally or otherwise, must-have products, etc. Go check it out, and feel free to add your beautiful two cents.

"Lit Lovers" is more self-explanatory. It's a book blog. Several friends and I are authors thus far, and we just want to spread the love... of books. Think of it as a book club online. On it, we will introduce and/or review books we are interested in or have already come to know and love. I'm horrible at finding new, great authors, so this will be a great (and fun!) resource for me. Check it out, and maybe it will become one for you, too! Again, input is always welcome.

So... GO! What are you waiting for? Enlighten your mind. Broaden your horizons. Blog stalk. Enjoy!

PS. For you visual learners out there... The above picture is of a SIDE salad (that looks absolutely scrumptious). I found it randomly online. 'Hope this helps! ;)

Nice new blog! I have enjoyed reading your blogs this year, it's been fun. I am taking the summer off of every technology though (well, computer and TV anyway), so I won't be "seeing" you until fall. Here are a couple of good books that I would recommend for you that have that "frenchness" about them. One is Suite Francaise by Irene Nemirovsky, one of my favorites I've read in the past couple years. It's set in France during WWII. Another is called Fair Exchange by Michele Roberts. That one has a fabulous twist that you don't see coming. It is set in France during the revolution.
One suggestion for your new blogs is to set the identity choices like this one so that they have the name/URL or anonymous option for comments. If you end up having a problem with unwanted comments, you can always change it back.

Check out our blog. We are in Jackson Hole for a full week. We are having a blast and are posting everyday. Check it out. It's great to see that you are finally over Jame's sickness. That is wonderful.

I finally found your blog! BTW I loved Holy Fools, great choice. I took it back to the library today, so if it was you who had a hold on it - go get 'er.
