We, the "Anderson Trio," have been pretty busy lately-- actively finding and enacting solutions to our oh-so-many problems. Here are a few of the problems for which we now have solutions... and a few pictures of the solutions themselves!
Problem #1: Clumsiness (in and/or around a swimming pool, nonetheless)
Solution: Stitches (three)
Problem #2: The Never Ending UTI (super stubborn germies that were becoming MORE resistant to antibiotics, not less- through several rounds of several varieties)
Solution: "The Snip"

Problem #3: Too big and old for newborn car seat
Solution: Big Boy chair
Problem #4: Curiosity and/or boredom
Solution: Get self stuck in Legos box
(Problem reoccurred a week or so later... similar solution.)

Problem #5: Drab, NON-color-changing clothes/itemsSolution: Generous relatives (Thanks, Ash & Jon!)
Problem #6: Pent-up need for destruction
Solution: Chaos.

Problem #7: Excessive amounts of homeless books and toys
Solution: Voila!

First of all, your creativeness in blog-wording astounds me (ok, I honestly don't know what that word means but it came to mind- disregard if it's obsene). Secondly, my nephew is so cute and silly! Getting stuck in the lego box was my fave. And....where'd you get the cute blue and green boxes????
this comment is to say that you better appreciate my commenting...it's not as easy as it seems....I can't spell the funny words correctly and then I type my password incorrectly. AUGH!
Yay for cute pictures! I love your storage/bookshelf area. Can't wait to see it in person. That little boy of your is sure cute.
Dena (and anyone else who's interested), I got those little storage drawers at Lowes. They are ClosetMaid brand... and they're little fabric storage cubes. They're $5 a pop. If you're cheap like I am, that sounds like a ton... but if you've browsed storage stuff before, you realize this is a great deal (As were the shelves-- $8 at DI, plus the screws Derek used to attach the middle shelf)! Anyway- there you go. You asked. :)
PS. You used "astounds" correctly. Good work. :)
I totally made it onto your blog! I love that I'm the only Anderson in the picture who's not a part of the Russell and Julie Anderson family. I must agree that this was quite an original post. Very well done.
Thank goodness for the blogging world to stay semi-in the loop of things, but I feel like I haven't talked to you in ages. Miss ya, I'll try to call sometime soon! :)
oh, and i love the new blog look!
my nephew is so dang cute...just like me. *sigh* jk. :o) i love all the new pictures!!!
You crack me up. Seriously. I love reading your blog! We finally broke down and bought a bookshelf and storage bins for Addie's toys too... now her favorite thing is to pull everything off the shelfs 500 times a day. I finally realized that if I stopped cleaning it up, she wouldn't have anything to destroy. So now I am content to live in a house of chaos.
what exactly did you "snip"
