No, we don't keep chocolate in our laundry hampers. The hamper was on the floor by the washing machine, and the chocolate was on the table. Our way-too-tall-and-mischievous little boy decided that while Mommy was in the other room, he would pull the chocolate OFF the table, thus falling into the hamper and soon into James' mouth! Darn kid.
I have done really well to keep James away from harmful habits and foods. I really want him to have a good, strong head start in life so that when he's older he doesn't die from all of the billions of diseases that are linked to obesity and a poor lifestyle. I know chocolate is wonderful. But I don't think James needs to know that yet. Let him love broccoli best for a while...
But now he knows. He was devouring those "Muddy Buddies" like you wouldn't believe. Like I said, darn kid. We still (or AGAIN, I guess) aren't going to let him eat chocolate until he's older. And I suppose we'll have to start keeping yummy snacks even higher up! ;)
I had to get some pictures... if he wasn't so stinkin' cute, he might have been in trouble. As it was, I just took the (remaining) chocolate away.
PS. The girly pajamas are not his. We stayed late at Shawn and Mindy's and had to borrow some pjs. He does look sorta cute in them, though, don't you think? I should have borrowed a bow!

that 3rd picture is to die for! My goodness, he's a cutie! And James, tell mommy that while broccoli is in the veggie food group, chocolate has its very own!!!!!!
I have to agree with Dena. Chocolate is at the top of the pyramid for me. :) I love James' stylin jammies. So cute.
BTW- I'm glad you found my other blog. I came out of the closet. Thanks for leaving comments. You make me feel cool.
I... Love... CHOCOLATE!!!
Wow, good job on keeping all the good junk food away from James. I think I did pretty good with Kaybri, until we moved by grandparents. And Paxton didn't stand a chance since he was born by them.
LoL... I can relate to this so much!
Uhoh- James found the good stuff huh! He now knows the counter is the place to find the goodies! Good luck to you! Cute James he is so adorable! We loved seeing you guys last weekend, and it was seriously cute how James would try to copy Tai! Loved the pictures, and the girly pajamas! Now maybe Micah won't be so mad at me about putting a bow in tai's hair!
we love chocolate too, before Kya really even had any (maybe once), she started to ask for "chocate" all the time. Grandma is proud of that one...she is a chocaholic too.
Haha, sorry I couldn't settle your marital argument! Yeah, it seems Utahn's call them scones but they are not really, but most people don't or at least didn't know any different {just read the comment from the Utahns...} I didn't either, and can't not call them scones still. Confusing much? Oh well...
Good parenting -- take pictures and enjoy the moment, rather than getting upset. One accidental chocolate exposure won't ruin him forever ;-).
Hey bec- just so you know my blog will not show updates on your page since it is private now.
BEC! New trailer is out- and it is good!

My kids never had a chance. I am just a sucker for the sweets and so are they. We did really good with Avery. Veggies are still one of her favorites. Good job though on keeping the good things rolling.
Hope all is well with you and your family. We miss you.
