Derek is such a great daddy! I can't say that I'm no fun or that James doesn't laugh a ton with me, too, but really- it's a whole different atmosphere when Dad's around. This morning, for instance, Mommy got to sleep in, and James and Derek got to bond. This is what they were up to when I got up:

For some reason I picture James as a sixteen year old color coordinating his wardrobe to match the paint job of his car. Can't figure out why though???

Oh Becca. You read into that comment way too much. If you'll review the videos "closely" (I put that in quotations because you don't actually have to review them "closely" at all) you will notice that James' "car" is green and he's wearing green too. That's all.
OOoohhhh. :) Wow. I was way off. lol. I over-analyze; it's true. (Imagine the trouble that gets Derek into! ie. D: "You look nice in that outfit." B: "THAT oufit??? Like I look like a cow in most of the others???"... You get the idea.) Thanks for the clarification.

Yea! For daddy and son bonding! Love it! Especially when it means sleeping in! good job Derek and being such a great dad! Aren't dad's so great!

Watching the videos of James was our FHE activity. Jace was cracking up! Sooo funny! And Reuben was the commentator..."Where's James????" ..."Mommy, James is in the box."..."Mommy, that's a bear." Does he really think I didn't know? Man, so much for pulling off the image of a smart mom! thanks for sharing. Loved it! And miss you guys!

It's good to see that you guys are doing well. You are right, James is just too stinkin' cute. You are too much of a health nut. I know my parents give out chocolate as soon as they are old enough to have solids. I am not so sure with Zann's family. I guess we will find out soon enough.
Is the box trick part of his training to avoid travel costs this Christmas?
Looks like Derek has a much fun being dad as James does being a kid! I love it. Good for both of you!
Shawn, its close, but I have to disagree that a box and a laundry basket are all a kid needs. There is one more thing a kid needs -- a stick.
