Better late than never, eh?

I figure that since we leave for our CHRISTMAS vacation in just one week, I should probably hurry and post a few pictures of Thanksgiving! I've been such a slacker blog-wise lately, but I've gotta tell ya, I've been a busy, busy bee in other regards.

It's finals week at *SU (I'm so mysterious, ha), and Derek is testing even as I type this. Poor guy. Finals week sucks rocks (that was for you, Bonnie)! So I've been helping him study, etc. That's one thing. Another is that I decided (due to enormous amounts of inspiration, some of which are listed on the sidebar) to be crafty this year and "create" a lot of presents instead of just buying them (ie. matching pj pants for our little family- for Christmas Eve/morning). So I've been ridiculously busy, occasionally overwhelmed, and sometimes surprised and impressed by my who-knew abilities. I will not-so-humbly say that some of the "projects" (I don't want to use more specific terms, as to not give away anything to the gift-receivers) are effin' awesome -- really, very nicely done and some I would even go so far as to call them gorgeous! Anyway... this wasn't the point of the post. The point is: I've been busy. WE've been busy.

Excuses aside, here are a few fun pics of Thanksgiving this year in the Anderson household. We "locals" gathered at Julie's house (Derek's mom); each of us pitched in by making and bringing a few things, and we stuffed ourselves silly. Luckily, though, we "rocked" all night to burn off those extra calories. We even named our band Triptofann... because we're awesome.

Enjoy.

That's right... and there were a few more not even pictured!
One pie per adult. Now THAT's something to be thankful for!

And these are just the hors d'oeuvres! What's that cute Bonnie lass photoing?
Only the coolest pumpkin pie you've ever seen (yee haw, turkey!) Nobody puts baby in the corner.
The "amateur" rock band :)
Some goofy lookin' people we know
More of the same
One HOT pair
HELLOOOOO, blue eyes! (If he weren't my son, I'D marry him!)

Fin.

I am still kinda hating you because of all your new found talents! You look sooo pretty in these pictures and yes, James is a cutie- I especially loved his jibber jabbering last night- he is quite the entertainer. Have fun with your family and (i am hating you for this, too) at Disney!!!

Very creative band name!! You Anderson's rock! I loved that pie with the turkey and the pilgrims that is way creative whoever came up with that is smart! At least they got that Thanksgiving was with the pilgrims Aubrey thought that it was with the cowboys and Indians! so she dressed Kona up in a cowboy outfit last year!!

But also I do have to say those blue eyes of James are soooo cute! ( I would say pretty but for his manly sake i won't)
