Due to popular demand, I have decided to post a couple of pictures of James with his MOMMY. I first had to take some, since there really and honestly weren't many. I've complained to Derek, unfairly questioning his attraction to me ("Do you just think I'm still too fat?" or "I know I'm not that pretty..." etc.), but although he totally discredits these ideas, he still doesn't seem to think to grab a camera when he sees a cute shot. There are billions (probably literally) of pictures of James with his daddy, however, because I very much think that way. These shots are somewhat strange (call them artistic; it sounds better) since I had to take them myself. But here are a few photos of James and me today at home.

He is seriously so freaking hilarious when he smiles! He has the cutest little happy face (like the shot taken with the help of the mirror). I totally understand the picture situation. I have, literally, a handful of shots of me and Booger. Mostly I have pictures of her, or her and J, or her and other family members. Why? Why can't anyone else pick up the camera and help out? I can just imagine, a few years from now, the questions that are sure to come: "Mommy, were you really my mommy? Were you really there when I was a baby? Where's the proof?" And even when J agrees to take a picture of me and Booger, it's always staged, and it's always shot very poorly. No focus, no balance, bad angles, etc. I know Derek is much more competent than that when it comes to using electronic devices. :) Maybe you and I should get together for a private "glamour shots" session, where we can take pictures of each other with babies. Eh, eh?
Also, the one of you two laying down is REALLY adorable! Print it, frame it.

I love the one of James leaning on your shoulder. You know mommies are a little camera crazy. I have 200 pictures of the girls for every 1 of me. It's just the way things work.

I love pictures. In fact, I'm addicted to pictures. And yet, my poor baby has 5 maybe with his mom. Isn't that the saddest thing? Yet, there's a bazillion (yes I've counted) of Kona and dad. WHY?! I'm pretty sure Adam has the same (probably bigger) muscles that I do and can lift our camera and push a button. It's sad to me, my baby will grow up thinking mom was lame cause look at all the cool pic's he has with dad doing cool stuff. Well, mom was there too, she's BEHIND the camera. One day, let's stalk each other and just take pictures of "awwww" moments and even some moments that we probably don't want to remember! All I can say is, "ladies, I hear you loud and clear!"
