My friend Brittney just had a baby via c-section and already has a (huge) toddler... who she can't even lift for like two months -- doctor's orders. Yeah. Needless to say, that's quite the predicament. So mom, sister, etc. came down for a few days to help, and then James and I took a turn. We have been here for about a week, and it's been interesting (three boys two and under- yikes!) to say the least - but really, pretty fun. We are going home today, which is great, because we're really missing "daddy" and "huuum." But we will miss them, too. There aren't many people I can live with (family included) without strangling them... but Micah and Britt are an extention to our marriage, and we all "get on" super great. That's one of the many reasons we love them.

James has had a blast having two "siblings" this week! You see, I really suck at play dates, etc, and am nowhere near birthing a sibling for him, so James has been pretty jipped and fairly lonely/bored. He loves Tai (the toddler- just older than he) to the point of near-mauling, and he's curious and really quite taken by the new baby, Kua. He walks around saying "Kua? Tute?" (tute = cute). When Kua cries (which is rare... I know, could he be more perfect?), he says with alarm, "baby?" and runs over to him. He plays pretty well with Tai and is really sweet with the baby. Thank goodness for lack-of-sleep nights and the concept of breastfeeding to provide me with a good balance of baby-hunger and birth-control! :)
Anyway- I thought I'd post a few pictures of the fun times we've had this week. Hooray for friends! And yay for babies that are just so. darn. cute.

So cute! Britt looks pretty darn good for just having a baby. I'm glad you all had a fun week, but am also glad you are home. I guess I'm a little possessive. I can't wait to hang with you soon. I am glad you got to spend some good quality time with the Pack pack. (I am feeling very clever for that right now).

Bec I do have to agree- you are an AWESOME friend! And we miss you guys soo much! I agree with you as well there are not that many people to whom we could live with- but we can and did totally live with you! It's a good thing too, since we have intertwined marriages.
