This month was wonderfully busy mostly due to the family wedding we had up here. Kurt (Derek's FAVORITE brother... How's that for comment-fishing?) married the beautiful Bonnie... and as a result, lots of family was in town.
As we were hanging out with the fam up at Julie's, the kids played "dress ups." I decided to get James involved. Arrr~! (He wasn't fond of the eye patch, as you can see.)
He also had his first encounter with a REAL puppy. I'm not sure he could tell the difference between this pup and his stuffed ones, but either way he liked it.
The gorgeous wedding day arrived at last. Here is the happy (and goofy) couple. We love you two, and congratulations!!
And though it was a wonderful day, it was freakin' freezing during outside-at-the-temple pictures. James got chilled to the bone pretty quickly, and thanks to our fantastic and loving cousin Nate (who gave up his suit jacket to get crumpled up and used as a blanket) and Daddy (who donated his love, kisses and body heat), he survived... though barely.

Ah . . . pirate patches and puppies, what more could a boy ask for.
Arrrr! Me like the patch, arrr! Kona hates animals big or small. If they move on their own, they freak him out. Except for when he's behind a glass door, and then he's a tough guy. Arrrrr!
It looks like James will be well dressed for Speak Like a Pirate Day....of course, he needs to work on the speak part first, but he'll be looking good.
