History lesson: Derek's dad went to Ireland on his mission (2 years of full-time volunteer service for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints). While he was there, he had a lady knit him a custommade Irish wool sweater. Also... Julie went to Europe last summer, and while she was there, she found and bought a miniature version of Russell's sweater, also handknit with Irish wool. When she returned, Julie explained the history of Russell's sweater and gave that sweater to Derek. Along with that sweater was another one, in mini, for James. The baby sweater is still a little too big for James, but we wanted the two of them to wear the sweaters before summer came and the weather was too warm. Here are some pictures of that.

Love the sweaters. I think James and Derek have the same smile. :)
Stellar sweaters. I think that's actually really sweet of Derek's momma. Cute.
I see pictures of people at the Pack casa. . .why am I not there? Where is Aubrey? Why am I not seeing you in my life?
love the sweaters, and who's ever house you are at must really rock!
When Derek and James wore those sweaters to church that Sunday we were in town, I thought they looked too cute. Then when my mom told me the story about the sweaters, I remembered seeing that sweater of my Dad's before while I was growing up. That is so awesome that they have a cool heritage and history behind them.
