Update Overload 5 of 5

Derek, James and I went on our first-ever-family-vacation last weekend. It was only an overnighter, but hey- you've gotta start somewhere! We left Saturday afternoon/evening, drove an hour or so, went out to eat at a nice restaurant, checked into the hotel, played and "explored" with James, put him to bed, ate our leftovers, watched a great movie called A Good Year, smooched-n-stuff, and went to sleep. The morning after, we went out for breakfast (ox in the mire... cough), went to cousin Danny's mission farewell, hung out with family for a while then drove home. It was a very fun and very needed getaway!

James in the hotel room. He rolled/pushed himself under this chair... silly boy.

James' bed.

Okay, not really. But we wanted to make it look that way. When I was a kid, I slept in a drawer of a hotel room. I thought I was clever.... or my parents thought they were. Either way, this was our reinactment of that.

Derek and James, both rediculously excited by the Guitar Hero's loud, loud, rockin' music (spiritual farewell activity... lol). Seriously, James was THRILLED... it was very funny. We've got a rock star on our hands. Maybe it's all that American Idol getting to him!

My handsome stud.
My other handsome stud... and me. Driving home at last.

Cheese!

Yay for a fun weekend. I think James looks like a little burrito stuffed in that drawer. That is an awesome picture. I should try that trick out with Brynn-I bet she would be down with it.

You sure did have tons of pics from these 5 updates. I don't know how I got so many on my last post (you asked), but I've never been unable to just keep loading and loading and loading... hence all the long posts with tons of pictures. But I think I upload mine smaller than you do (I choose medium size), so perhaps that has something to do wtih it.

You look great in all these pictures! James and Derek look cute too. Love the matching sweaters, and what a sweet story!
